In May 2007 CESA introduced a new electronic debit program. This program provides a safe, convenient, and free way for members to pay fees in a 4-pay plan. This is the preferred method of payment for the Club.
How does it work?
Payments are automatically deducted from the checking or savings account you specify and on the agreed upon date. This program uses the same automated clearing house (ACH) system that handles payroll direct deposit, Social Security payments, and recurring debits for mortgage companies, finance companies, and insurance companies. The entry will appear on your bank statement with the description "San Antonio Elite".
How do I enroll?
The Electronic Debit authorization is available on the classicselite website under documents or by clicking here . Be sure to complete the proper document for your level of play. Simply complete and sign the form, and fax all pages back to the Club office 210-402-1539 or Dee McIntyre 830-393-0182.
What about security?
This is the most secure method of payment. Your data is loaded into a secure ACH system hosted by Wells Fargo bank. Access to the system requires a Club ID number, UserID, password, pin number, and possession of a key fob. Only four people in the Club have the ability to enter or view data in this system. ACH transactions move between banks and the Federal Reserve via securely encrypted transmissions. ACH transactions are governed by Regulation E, providing significant consumer protections.
This system is much more secure than putting a check in the mail, and involves far fewer parties having access to your account number than in the check clearing process.
What are the benefits to the Club?
This system allows us to collect the right amount and on the date due. Members do not have to remember to write checks. Chasing down payments is very expensive for the Club, and timely collection of dues benefits all members. This is a very efficient system, and allows your Club to operate with part-time office staff, keeping our overhead low. We believe your money is best spent on Trainers and fields, and not on administrative overhead. These payments are integrated into our bookkeeping system, ensuring payments are properly credited. Other payment systems are not integrated, and require manual posting to your Club account. Manual postings are expensive and error prone.
