| Eddie Salazar Eddie Salazar is a San Antonio native who started and played all four years of his collegiate soccer career at Texas Lutheran University under head coach Mike Alderson. He was selected for the All-American Southwest Conference (ASC) Team two years and served as team captain for three years, leading the Bulldogs to two ASC titles and one NCAA Division III playoff appearance. Salazar began training local San Antonio and Seguin youth teams in 2002. Since graduating from Texas Lutheran University in 2002, he has been serving as assistant men’s coach at his alma mater under head coach Mike Alderson. In 2004 Salazar took the head coaching position at Texas Military Institute (TMI), a private high school in San Antonio, leading the Panthers to a Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) appearance. He holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Salazar, a graduate from San Antonio’s Robert E. Lee High School, received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas Lutheran University in 2002. |
