WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TRYOUTS
The CESA coaching/training staff will observe the players performing skills exercises, 1v1 and 2v2 type competition, but a large percentage of the time will be scrimmages. The trainers will divide the players into groups and each group will work with various trainers at different times. You can expect your child to be moved to different groups throughout the day or from one day to the next. This is all part of the evaluation process. The trainers will be evaluating how each player reacts to different challenges. Following the third day of tryouts, the trainers will determine which players will be placed on each team. The trainers will immediately begin to contact the parents of players with offers. The trainers will announce the timeline you can expect for being contacted. Each newly formed team will have their first practice and team meeting the week immediately following tryouts.A calendar of Fall 2010 events will be sent to all teams as well as posted on the website.HELPFUL INFORMATION
