ESPN’s "Outside the Lines" aired a feature this past week covering U.S. Soccer’s player development initiative leading up to the World Cup this summer. The short feature includes footage from Development Academy events and has interviews about Academy.

Matt Cardone gets an opportunity to play with a US National Team...Classics Elite US Academy Goalkeeper Matt Cardone has been selected by the US National Team staff as one of the players to represent a US National Team in the US Academy Showcase in Phoenix, Arizona Dec 4th-6th for more information on the US Academy Showcase click here. Players selected for these teams are all under consideration for the USA U17 National Team. Matt is pictured below with US Academy coach Paul McGinlay and CE President Marco Barros. This is a great honor for Matt and the Classics Elite program.
