somosCE Announcement

San Antonio, TX – The Classics Elite Soccer Academy (CE) is excited to launch their new community service Facebook page, somosCE. CE has a long-standing history of community service in the greater San Antonio area dating back to 1992. The San Antonio Classics, a girls-only soccer club established in 1992, and the San Antonio Elite, a boys-only club soccer club established in 1998, merged in 2004 to form the Classics Elite Soccer Academy. Lupe Metzger, CE Director of Operations, states, “We wanted to create a page where our CE families could see and participate in the numerous community service projects Classics Elite players, families, and coaches are involved with currently and involved with over the past 25 years". We feel that the creation of the somosCE page will increase the awareness of ongoing community service projects that will hopefully broaden participation and ultimately benefit our San Antonio community.”
